              I was reluctant to start this novel because it has like 2000+ pages in pdf and that was enough to scare me. But one day I decided to give it a try. Although start was a bit slow, once I got familiar with the characters and story I was hooked!! There were so many great reminders throughout the novel (some of which I'be shared), with an interesting plot and loveable characters. Umar, Halay, Nafeesa and Justice Mairaj are my ultimate favourites and Haroon is such a cinnamon roll🥺🖤

لمبی کہانیوں کا بھی اپنا مزہ ہوتا ہے، انسان سکون سے کرداروں میں جی سکتا ہے! بخت کا عمیق مشاہدہ صرف ایک پوسٹ میں کرنا بالکل ایسا ہے جیسے سمندر کو کوزے میں بند کرنا!

اختصاراً پوری کہانی کا جائزہ لیا جائے تو واللہ یہ کہانی بہت خوب ہے خاص طور پر تب جب یہ کہانی مصنفہ کی بہلی ناول ہے!

               Besides this, the plot twist of this novel was a bit unpredictable, that was literally a blast, I was skeptical about mehermah since the writer had made her extremely 'pitiful', she doesn't spoke for her so-called siblings, thus, it was crystal clear that she have been bewitched by 'jealousy'!. Apart from this, the insights of bakht, they were literally so thorough and deep that it urged me to self-introspect myself.

          Sometimes, the ambience of the scenes were placid and diaphanous while sometimes the scenes were pitifully dark and choking. The cardinal purpose of this novel was beautifully blended with humour and some really heart-melting bonds; Umer and Mairaj being so attached to each other.

            Besides all these, It gets a long time before the story gets interesting, the first scene was intriguing but later the story gets slow-paced, there was such a bombardment of characters a relationships in the beginning that I hardly continue to focus. Plus, too many side characters. 

           They're a side for a reason. Especially Yaqoot and Nooh's backstories, if they were the part of the story then they were not linked properly, even though the lesson behind Yaqoot's character was well-delivered.

         Additionally, the interesting parts happen right at the end. Mehermah being the real witch was disclosed so late, villains can be overshadowed but not till the last part of the novel. Most importantly, no progression after chapters and chapters in the first 500 pages. It got mundane.

خلاصہ یہ کہ میں نے اس کتاب سے اپنے کئ جوابات حاصل کئے، میں نے کرداروں کے ساتھ رنج و الم محسوس کیا ہے، میں نے ان کے ساتھ فلک شگاف قہقہے لگائے ہیں، میں مشکور ہوں مصنفہ کی اس کتاب کے لئے۔ اللہ آپ کے علم و عمل میں برکت فرمائے اور آپ کی نئ کتاب سے بھی لوگوں کو مستفید فرمایے!✨

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْم

بخت میری پہلی تحریر ۔ جسکی کتاب کا کور آج میں پوسٹ کر رہی ہوں ۔ ہر انسان کو اسکی محنت اچھی لگتی ہے ،مجھے بخت صرف اچھا نہیں لگتا مجھے بخت سے محبت ہے ۔ میں نے اٹھارہ سال کی عمر میں اسے لکھنا شروع کیا تھا ۔ لوگ مجھ سے پوچھتے ہیں آپ لکھاری کیسے بن گئیں ۔؟آپ کی انسپریشن کیا تھی ۔ ہر چھوٹے بڑے لکھاری کے پاس اس سوال کے بڑے بڑے جواب ہوں گے ۔ میرے پاس نہیں ہیں ۔ میرے لئے لکھنا ایک معجزے جیسا ہے ۔

میں نے اپنے بچپن میں کبھی کوئی ایک سطر بھی نہیں لکھی اتنی لمبی تحریر تو پھر ایک الگ چیز ہے ۔

کہانیaاں میرے ذہن میں بچپن سے تھیں ۔ میں چودہ سال کی تھی جب بخت کا پلاٹ میرے ذہن میں آیا تھا ۔ تيره سال کی عمر میں ،میں اپنی بہن کو وہ تمام کہانیاں سنایا کرتی تھی جو میرے ذہن نے بنی ہوتی تھیں ۔

وہ اکثر پوچھتی تھی یہ کس کا ناول ہے ۔؟میں کہہ دیتی تھی کسی دوست نے پڑھنے کے لئے دیا تھا ۔(اس جھوٹ کے لئے وہ میرا قتل کر سکتی ہے ۔)

میری انسپریشن کچھ خاص نہیں تھی ۔ میں بس ان کرداروں سے تنگ تھی جہاں ایک انسان کورا پنا ہے تو دوسرے کی سیاہی ختم ہی نہیں ہوتی ۔ ایسے کردار غیر حقیقی ہوتے ہیں ۔ اور میری دوسری انسپریشن تھی اردو ادب میں پھیلا ایک ٹریڈ مارک ختم کرنا کہ کہانیاں بس محبت کی ہوتی ہیں ۔ ہاں محبت زندگی کا ایک اہم اور لازمی جز ہے لیکن زندگی میں محبت کے علاوہ بھی چیزیں اور مسائل قابل غور ہیں ۔ تیسری انسپریشن تھی محبت کے اصل معنی ۔

آپ جب بخت پڑھیں گے تو اندازہ ہو ہی جائے گا ۔ بخت کی پری بکنگ جاری ہے اپنا آرڈر بک کروائیں ۔

آخر میں میں کچھ لوگوں کا شکریہ ادا کرنا چاہتی ہوں ۔ بلکہ ان کو سراہنا چاہتی ہوں ۔ سب سے پہلے مہر . . . . تمہارا شکریہ ۔ تم ایک مستقل مزاج لڑکی نہیں تھیں ،لیکن تم نے ایک مکمل ناول لکھا ہے ۔ خود پہ بھروسہ کرو ۔

                   The writer portrayed incredibly the concept of luck, if love and wealth are not in your fate, you shouldn't be desperately needy for it, dignity comes first, and you should be honorable, you get everything that Allah is written for you✨, the character I loved was Haroon shahid he never leaves Halay, he chooses honor instead of he became a needy desperate person. 

             The character which gives me goosebumps were nafeesa begum she's the real boss lady🔥 the character of mairaj sultan was also portrayed so beautifully, his bond with Umar...aahhhh😭😭 I cried at his death🤧 and the character give me the real shock mehermah aaahhhhh..... I'm not expecting meharmah a villain but alas!!! The ending of Shams Sultan is very scary, Farwa deserved what she gets, lail sikander aaahh my gurlll✨💕

                 she's such a mood, (I wanted her badly as haroon's lead 🥺) Hassan's character was so fun to read and emotional at some time, and finally our hero umer Hayat my most favorite character 🤧💞 his sense of humor, his personality, he's wholesome, he's literally a gudduu

                 Everything is soo on point,specially the things the writer has mentioned,the problems in our society the double standards thing,the thing that how a person come under the influence of satan,one thing i loved the most about this novel that the writer has written MORALLY GREY CHARACTERS, no character is perfect in this book,and that's the thing that made this book more amazing, I always idealize those characters which has flaws because no one on is perfect everyone has his or her own insecurities.

             Second thing, the character of umer hayat and his obsession with money is portrayed soo beautifully, actually our male portaginst's love is money but ykw? the writer has showed that "paisy sy muhabbat buri bat nh hai magr us ko najaiz tariqy sy kamana galat hai",whenever someone says to umer that tmharay pas to itna paisa, zaruur najaiz tareeqy sy kamaya hoga and he always replies with:

"پیسہ عمر حیات کا عشق ہے ،اور عشق میں کبھی بے وفائی نہیں کرتے۔"

 

           Means that although umer was obsessed with money but he never earned form unfair means, hats off to mehar for writing it soo beautifully!🥺♥️

       Another thing was the healing journey of haaroon shahid, ahh guyss i just want to hug him the things he went through as a child 🥺 but after all he overcomes his fears his character shows that you can heal from anything you just need to believe in yourself!

         Writer gives so many beneficial lessons like music, insan ke andar ka shar, and so on...

Now, I am excited to read the ongoing novel of the author "Bismil" too!!
